Shelley Leiner, MSLP, S-LP (C)

Shelley was raised in New Brunswick and returned to Moncton in 2011 after living and working for almost 17 years in Alberta and 3 years on Prince Edward Island. She has over 20 years of clinical experience working both in preschool and school settings and as a clinical team leader, mentoring other speech-language pathologists, speech language pathology assistants and graduate speech students.

Shelley began doing private practice on a part-time basis in 2001 and that renewed her passion for her work as a speech language pathologist. She believes that working directly with children and their families, often in their home environment, can make a world of difference in being able to provide family- and client-centered service. Shelley has a young, brilliant, and funny daughter at home and this has given her a greater appreciation and understanding of the day-to-day joys and challenges that her clients experience.
